The Frigidaire FAD704DUD 70-pint Dehumidifier is an Energy Star Compliant 70-pint per day dehumidifier capable of continuous operation when the unit is located near a suitable drain. It features full-function electronic controls, an easily accessible collection container with level indicator, and a washable filter that removes both moisture and airborne particulates. The integrated casters allow you to move the unit easily to wherever it's needed.
How It Works
When the unit is started, the fan begins to pull moisture-laden air across the dehumidifying coil. The coils condense or draw moisture from the air and air flows through the side louvers into the room as dry, warm air. Moisture removed from air is collected in a bucket on the front of the dehumidifier.

The antibacterial mesh filter reduces bacteria, room odors and other airborne particles for a cool, comfortable environment. The washable filter keeps your air smelling fresh. Cleaning the filter is a breeze. Located in the bottom of the unit, the filter slides out for easy access. The CLEAN FILTER light will illuminate after 250 hours, about every 2 weeks, of operation. At this time, remove the bucket and pull the filter downwards. Then, wash the filter with clean water and let dry completely. Once the filter has been cleaned and replaced, simply press the FILTER button to extinguish the light and the unit is ready to get back to work.

The full function electronic controls allows you to set your unit to the precise environment to prevent odors that result from mold, mildew and bacteria in any room.
You have the option to continuously drain your dehumidifier. This way, you don't have to worry about emptying the water bucket. Simply place the dehumidifier near a drain to discharge the water into. Then, screw a garden hose onto the threaded portion of the drain connector in the dehumidifier, and direct the hose toward the drain. Finally, select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit for continuous draining to start.
The water bucket is conveniently located in the front of the unit allowing for easy access to empty and clean the canister. The easily accessible carrying handle and splash guard means no more messes with spilled water and makes emptying your bucket hassle-free.
The dehumidifier unit will shut off automatically and alert you when your water tank nears capacity and it is time to empty the water bucket. With a bucket full indicator there will be no more messes with spilled water.
